Help us hold our Colorado legislators accountable. We need to raise $1550 to create a website and an app for our Liberty Scorecard.

Bad votes happen when no one is watching. We plan to change that.

Principles of Liberty created the concept.

We want to take it to the next level.

For 8 years POL did an amazing job running a program that rated each of our state legislators according to how they voted on bills.  They applied the principles of personal liberty, free markets and limited government to each bill, then compared their ratings to how our legislators voted in committees and on final votes. They influenced votes early in the process, when they could have the most impact.

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Colorado has created the Liberty Scorecard to carry on this very important work, since POL is no longer around. We’ve purchased software that will make the process more efficient and allow us to rate hundreds of bills in real time. It’s a game changer.

We want to take it a step further. We’ve found a Colorado company who specializes in creating websites and apps for legislative scorecards. They’ve had a huge impact across the country, shining a light on the legislative process in many states. Having the software to do the analysis is one thing. Being able to disseminate the results and make them available on a smart phone will increase our influence exponentially. We’ll make this information available not only to our elected officials, but to anyone who’s interested in personal freedom and the proper role of government.

Calvin Coolidge once said, “It is much more important to kill bad bills than to pass good ones.” We couldn’t agree more. With your help, we can make this happen.
